ABOUT MUSEUM PASSES OF TÜRKİYE
Museum pass cards as presented above currently offered to dear visitors of Türkiye with the exception of Müzekart which valid only for Turkish citizens.
Museum Pass cards of Türkiye range with their regional area, price and the period of validity. Card owners are granted to skip the long queues to enter these sites and museums, though you are not exempt from security-check lines.
Each Museum Pass cards period of validity will be activated with your first entrance to a museum or historical site. Museum passes can only be used once at each museum.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Museum passes are simply discounted ticket packages and can not be used as a transportation card or phone card, etc. Guests of our city who would like to visit each individual museum can buy tickets from ticket booths which localized in museum premises and dooryards with credit card, cash (Turkish Lira) payments or online as an E-ticket. Tickets are sold only on the premises of museums and online. In case you buy faulty, counterfeit or second hand tickets and passes from street dealers, food kiosks, newspaper desks, etc. our institutions can not be held responsible.
MUSEUM PASS OF İSTANBUL
Below are some features of the İstanbul Museum Pass that highlights what the card is all about:- The İstanbul Museum Pass allows free, one time access to over 10 museums in İstanbul.
- One can choose to explore the list of available museums during 5 day validity of the card.
- The İstanbul Museum Pass is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. However, once activated on first usage it will remain active for consecutive 5 days for İstanbul Museums.
- Museum passes is valid from the time it is activated at the first museum entrance for consecutive 5 days. You can visit the attractions of your choice anytime within 5 days of validity.
- While the İstanbul Pass ensures general admission, it does not cover admission to special events, audioguides, or private exhibitions taking place at a selected museum.
- Famous attractions that come under the İstanbul Museum Pass are the Topkapi Palace, İstanbul Archeology Museums, and Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum. Please note: Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya Camii) has been reinstated as a mosque. Due to this change, museum passes are no longer valid for entry. You can review new foreign visitors rules, ticket price etc. from Hagia Sophia webpage for more information.
- İstanbul Museum Passes can not be exchanged or replaced if lost or stolen.
- Remember some of İstanbul's private museums, attractions, museum shops & cafes, hamams offer 20% to 30% discounts to İstanbul museum pass card holders.
